bernie siu (he/him)

Bernie Siu has 10+ years of zero-to-one product experience in technology and healthcare. Bernie has particular experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, and consumer tech. Bernie is currently in Technical Program Management at Meta, working on Wearables.

Prior to Meta, Bernie was a product manager at Verily (formerly Google Life Sciences) and a co-founder of KlevaHealth, (developing COVID tests in 6 months. Additionally, Bernie was a founding employee (#11) of clinical engineering at Verb Surgical (acquired by Johnson & Johnson Medtech), a joint venture in robotics and digital surgery.

Bernie graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Bioengineering, holds an MD from Stanford School of Medicine and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. 

Outside of his professional life, Bernie is an advocate for health equity and has worked on initiatives for LGBTQ+ and Asian-American communities. He is a co-author of 9 patents and 8 publications.
