Bernie Siu has 10+ years of zero-to-one product experience in technology and healthcare. Bernie has particular experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, biosensors, and consumer technology. Bernie is currently working on wearable EMG technology at Meta.
Prior to Meta, Bernie was at Verily (formerly Google Life Sciences) and a co-founder of KlevaHealth, (developing COVID tests in 6 months. Additionally, Bernie was a founding employee at Verb Surgical (acquired by Johnson & Johnson Medtech), a joint venture in robotics and digital surgery.
Bernie graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Bioengineering, holds an MD from Stanford School of Medicine and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a co-author of 9 patents and 8 publications.
